The social group has raised almost £300 for the East London Handicap Adventure Playground with a karaoke night. Members of Redbridge 18 Plus gave donations for the chance to belt out their favourites at The Prince of Wales pub, in Green Lane, llford, and anyone not too keen on making a stage appearance joined the raffle. Describing the fundraiser for the playground in Roding Lane north, Woodford Bridge, Chris Mann said: "It was a brilliant atmosphere, with the pub regulars joining in singing their own songs and dancing." Redbridge 18 Plus is a social group offering organised events and trips for 18 to 40 year-olds. The group meets on Fridays at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, llford, from 8.30-10pm.
